Is this you?

You’ve tried everything. Nothing has stuck.

You don’t need another meal plan you’ll abandon in three weeks. You need someone who actually listens, looks at the whole picture, and helps you make changes that fit your life.

  • Your cycle is unpredictable, your energy crashes by afternoon, and you’ve been told ‘your labs look fine’ — but something’s clearly off.

  • You suspect PCOS (or you’ve been diagnosed) and you’re tired of being handed the same generic ‘eat less, move more’ advice.

  • Bloating, reflux or IBS runs your week. You’ve cut foods on instinct and still feel worse.

  • You want a plan that respects your body and your life — no restriction, no shame, no calorie tracking.

The difference

Not a coach. A registered dietitian who finds the root cause.

Real credentials. Functional and lab testing where it’s useful — not guesswork or a generic plan. Weight-inclusive, food-positive, and built around what’s actually driving your symptoms.

Registered Dietitian (RD)

A regulated, licensed clinician — qualified to provide medical nutrition therapy and bill insurance. Not a wellness coach with a certificate.

Root-cause approach

Functional testing and lab analysis to understand what’s actually driving your symptoms — instead of guessing.

MRT food-sensitivity testing

Trained in MRT to help identify foods and chemicals that may be driving inflammation, IBS or fatigue.

Weight-inclusive. 1:1. No judgment.

Sustainable changes built around energy, labs, symptoms and habits — not the scale or before/after photos.

From clients
She listened — and that changed everything.

I'd struggled with my PCOS symptoms for years and felt like no one really listened. Working with Leila completely changed that. She took the time to understand what was going on with my hormones and insulin resistance and built a realistic eating plan I could actually stick to - no extreme restriction. Doing everything virtually from home in Yorba Linda made it so easy to keep up with. A few months in and what a night and day difference. Cannot recommend her enough.

I started working with Leila when I was living in Orange County and wanted help with nutrition coaching, without another gimmick diet. She built a plan and habit recommendations around real food and my actual schedule, and it finally stuck. When I moved to Texas for work, I figured I'd have to find someone new, but she's licensed there too and everything is virtual, so we could keep progressing. Super convenient. The realistic approach and convenient virtual sessions made it easy to stay consistent. Thanks Leila!

I was looking for a registered dietitian in Orange County and am so lucky to have found Leila. After years of jumping from one fad diet to the next and always feeling like I was failing, she helped me build sustainable habits that actually fit my life. Leila is also incredibly easy to talk to - nutrition can get into some personal, 'TMI' territory, and she made every conversation feel easy and judgment-free. Using a continuous glucose monitor with her was eye-opening too; it showed exactly how my body responded to different foods and took all the guesswork out. I found my body reacts to something in ways I wouldn't have never guessed. I finally feel like I'm living a healthier life instead of chasing the next quick fix. If you're in the OC and looking for a great dietitian, I can't recommend Leila enough!

About

Hi, I’m Leila.

I’m a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN). I graduated with honors from Cal Poly Pomona’s Food & Nutrition Science program and completed my Dietetic Internship at the University of Houston.

My philosophy is food-positive and weight-inclusive — your relationship with food should make life better, not smaller. I work 1:1 with adults across California, Texas and Nevada on PCOS, hormones, gut health, and sustainable metabolic health.

FAQ

Quick answers

Is there a specific diet for PCOS?

There isn’t one fixed diet for PCOS. Most people do best with a flexible pattern that supports steady blood sugar, includes plenty of fiber, protein and color, and isn’t built around restriction. A registered dietitian can personalize the approach to your symptoms, labs and life. Nutrition counseling is not a substitute for medical care.

What does working with a virtual dietitian look like?

We meet over secure video. After a free 15-minute discovery call, your first full session is a deeper intake. From there, we build a personalized plan — which may include functional testing or lab analysis — and meet for ongoing follow-ups so the plan keeps fitting your real life.

Are dietitians covered by insurance?

Often, yes. Under the Affordable Care Act, most private plans cover nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian — frequently at no cost for preventive care. I’m in-network with Aetna in California; for other plans I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement and accept HSA/FSA. See the Insurance page for a script to check your benefits.

Do I have to be in California to work with you?

No. I see clients virtually across California, Texas and Nevada. Working with the right specialist matters more than being close to one — that’s the whole point of virtual care.
