Leila Page is a registered dietitian providing virtual nutrition counseling to Irvine residents — a master-planned, health-conscious city with a large UC Irvine student population and a busy corporate and tech workforce. Care is delivered by telehealth across Orange County and the state, with select in-person availability in OC by request, so a video visit fits between meetings or classes without a drive across town.

A little local context.
Irvine is one of the most health-conscious, highly educated cities in the county — a master-planned community with a large professional and corporate workforce around the Spectrum and business districts, plus a substantial UC Irvine student and academic population.
That's an audience that tends to be proactive about health but extremely time-constrained. A video visit fits between meetings or classes far more easily than a clinic trip across town.
Virtual care also suits a data-minded crowd: it pairs naturally with continuous glucose monitors, lab review and structured follow-up, so we can be precise without you ever sitting in a waiting room.
Telehealth, by design — not as a fallback.
For Irvine professionals and students, the real obstacle is calendar pressure. Telehealth collapses an appointment to the time of the appointment itself — log on from a quiet office, an apartment near campus, or home — and the plan continues from wherever you happen to be that week.
Sessions are video visits with a personalized plan and written resources sent after. We can layer in CGM data, recent labs and structured follow-ups so the work compounds over weeks instead of resetting every visit.
I'm based in Orange County and virtual-first. Select in-person sessions in OC are available by request, but the practice is built around telehealth so care stays consistent.
Nutrition Irvine professionals and students ask about
Most Irvine clients come in for PCOS and hormone work, insulin resistance, and gut health (IBS, reflux, low-FODMAP done properly). It's an audience that tends to have already read the internet, which is honestly a good place to start — we cut through the noise with a personalized, evidence-based plan.
Food-sensitivity work using MRT (LEAP) testing comes up often here too, especially for clients with chronic gut symptoms or inflammation that haven't responded to general advice. Everything stays weight-inclusive — progress is measured by symptoms, labs and energy.

Virtual nutrition in Irvine — common questions
Do you see clients in person in Irvine?
My practice is virtual-first. Most Irvine clients work with me entirely by telehealth — it's what makes consistency realistic around a packed schedule. I'm Orange County–based and can sometimes accommodate select in-person sessions in OC by request, but virtual is the core of how I work.
Can virtual nutrition counseling really work as well as in person?
Yes — and honestly, often better for Irvine clients. The data we work with (labs, CGM, food diaries, symptom tracking) doesn't require us to be in the same room. What it does require is that you actually keep the appointment, which is far easier without the commute.
Are virtual sessions covered by insurance?
I'm in-network with Aetna in California. For other plans I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA/FSA cards work directly. The insurance page walks through what to expect.
What do you help Irvine clients with most?
PCOS and hormone work, insulin resistance, gut health and IBS, and MRT food-sensitivity testing for clients dealing with chronic symptoms that haven't responded to general advice. All weight-inclusive.
