Tustin is a central Orange County city blending historic Old Town charm with fast-growing new development, home to diverse families and young professionals. Leila provides virtual telehealth nutrition counseling to its residents — PCOS, hormones, gut health and food sensitivities — weight-inclusive and built around real life, with select in-person availability in OC by request.

A little local context.
Tustin is a study in old and new. There's the historic, tree-lined 'City of Trees' core — Old Town Tustin, with its preserved early-1900s buildings and longtime local spots — and then there's the rapid growth of Tustin Legacy and Tustin Ranch, where former Marine-base land has become new homes, shops and parks.
That mix draws a diverse community of young families and professionals — busy households juggling careers, kids and long Orange County commutes, where a standing mid-day clinic appointment is genuinely hard to keep.
Virtual care is built for exactly that. A video visit slots into a packed week from home, and the plan continues from wherever you are — which is most of what makes nutrition changes actually stick.
Telehealth, by design — not as a fallback.
For Tustin's busy young families and professionals, the friction of a clinic drive is usually what ends a nutrition plan early. Telehealth removes it — you keep the appointment from your kitchen, around work and school.
Each session is a video visit with a personalized plan and written resources sent after. We can fold in labs, food-sensitivity (MRT) testing, CGM data and structured follow-ups so the work compounds week over week.
I'm based in Orange County and virtual-first. Select in-person sessions in OC are available by request, but the practice is built around telehealth so care stays consistent.
Nutrition Tustin families look for
A lot of Tustin clients come in for PCOS, hormone work and insulin resistance, plus gut health and IBS — including low-FODMAP done properly as a short, structured reintroduction, not a forever diet.
The other big theme is food sensitivities. For stubborn gut and inflammatory symptoms that don't resolve with the usual changes, MRT food-sensitivity testing can help identify specific triggers — all weight-inclusive, root-cause, and sustainable.

Virtual nutrition in Tustin — common questions
Do you see clients in person in Tustin?
My practice is virtual-first. Most Tustin clients work with me entirely by telehealth — it's what makes consistency realistic around work, school and a long OC commute. I'm Orange County–based and can sometimes accommodate select in-person sessions in OC by request, but virtual is the core of how I work.
Can virtual nutrition counseling really work as well as in person?
Yes — and for a busy young-family schedule, it often works better. Removing the drive is usually what lets clients actually stay consistent long enough to see change. You still get fully personalized care: we can review labs together, layer in CGM or food-sensitivity data, and adjust as your body responds.
Are virtual sessions covered by insurance?
I'm in-network with Aetna in California. For other plans I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA/FSA cards work directly. The insurance page covers the details.
What do you help Tustin clients with most?
PCOS and hormone work, gut health and IBS, food sensitivities (including MRT testing), and sustainable, weight-inclusive care.
