Serving Orange

A little local context.

Orange is one of central Orange County's most distinctive cities — defined by Old Towne Orange, the largest National Register Historic District in California, where preserved early-1900s buildings, antique shops and the Plaza Circle give the city a character unlike anywhere else in the county.

It's also a major medical hub. Some of the region's largest hospitals — CHOC, St. Joseph, UCI Medical Center — sit in and around Orange, alongside Chapman University, which means a lot of residents work in healthcare and education and already think in terms of evidence.

That's a good fit for how I practice. Virtual care delivers genuinely evidence-based nutrition without another appointment to drive to — the work happens by video, around a full schedule.

How virtual works

Telehealth, by design — not as a fallback.

Orange residents — many of them working in the area's hospitals, university and clinics — don't need another commute added to the day. Telehealth removes it: you keep the appointment from home or on a break, wherever your schedule allows.

Each session is a video visit. We work through symptoms, labs and what you actually eat, and you leave with a personalized plan and written resources I send right after, with follow-ups to keep refining it.

I'm based in Orange County and virtual-first. Select in-person sessions in OC are available by request, but the practice is built around telehealth so care stays consistent.

What I help with

Nutrition support across Orange

A lot of Orange clients come in for PCOS, hormone work and insulin resistance, plus gut health and IBS — root-cause, evidence-based work that pairs well with whatever medical care you're already getting from the local hospital systems.

Diabetes and metabolic health are the other big bucket here, and worth flagging: medical nutrition therapy for diabetes and prediabetes is often insurance-covered, which matters in a city this rooted in healthcare. All of it is weight-inclusive — progress is measured in labs, energy, cycles and symptoms, never the scale.

Nutrition counseling is not a substitute for medical care. Individual results vary.

FAQ

Virtual nutrition in Orange — common questions

Do you see clients in person in Orange?

My practice is virtual-first. Most Orange clients work with me entirely by telehealth — it's what makes consistency realistic around hospital shifts, university schedules and family life. I'm Orange County–based and can sometimes accommodate select in-person sessions in OC by request, but virtual is the core of how I work.

Can virtual nutrition counseling really work as well as in person?

Yes — honestly, often better. Removing the drive means clients actually keep their appointments and stay consistent, which is most of what drives results. You still get fully personalized, evidence-based care: we can review labs together, work with CGM data, and adjust the plan as your body responds.

Are virtual sessions covered by insurance?

I'm in-network with Aetna in California. For other plans I provide superbills you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA/FSA cards work directly. Worth noting: medical nutrition therapy for diabetes and prediabetes is often covered separately under most plans — the insurance page walks through what to expect.

What do you help Orange clients with most?

PCOS and hormone work, gut health and IBS, diabetes and metabolic health, and sustainable, weight-inclusive care.
