Laguna Niguel is a South Orange County city defined by open space, trails and a wellness-minded, coastal-adjacent lifestyle. Leila provides virtual telehealth nutrition counseling to its residents — PCOS, hormones, perimenopause and gut health — weight-inclusive and built around real life, with select in-person availability in OC by request.

Serving Laguna Niguel

A little local context.

Laguna Niguel is one of the greenest cities in Orange County — more than a third of it is protected open space, with 80-plus miles of trails, Laguna Niguel Regional Park and its lake, and the San Joaquin Hills rolling down toward the coast.

It's a wellness-minded community. There's a popular Sunday farmers market for fresh local produce, a well-used YMCA, and a strong culture of hiking, biking and being outdoors — residents here already care about how they eat and move.

That's exactly the kind of foundation I build on. My approach is sustainable and root-cause — working with real, whole foods like what's at the farmers market — and virtual delivery means expert care fits your week without a drive.

How virtual works

Telehealth, by design — not as a fallback.

Laguna Niguel is wellness-minded but busy — most residents commute out of the city for work, and weekends fill with trails and family. Telehealth meets that reality: expert care from home, no drive across South County.

Each session is a video visit with a personalized plan and written resources sent after. We can review labs, fold in CGM data and iterate over follow-ups.

I'm based in Orange County and virtual-first. Select in-person sessions in OC are available by request, but the practice is built around telehealth so care stays consistent.

What I help with

Nutrition Laguna Niguel clients look for

A lot of Laguna Niguel clients come in for PCOS, hormone work and insulin resistance, and — given the city's established population — perimenopause and midlife hormone changes are a major focus. The work is root-cause: labs, cycles, sleep and stress, not just food.

Gut health and IBS round out what most people reach me for. All of it is weight-inclusive and whole-foods-first — progress is measured in labs, energy, cycles and symptoms, never the scale.

Nutrition counseling is not a substitute for medical care. Individual results vary.

FAQ

Virtual nutrition in Laguna Niguel — common questions

Do you see clients in person in Laguna Niguel?

My practice is virtual-first. Most Laguna Niguel clients work with me entirely by telehealth — it's what makes consistency realistic around commutes, family and weekend trail time. I'm Orange County–based and can sometimes accommodate select in-person sessions in OC by request, but virtual is the core of how I work.

Can virtual nutrition counseling really work as well as in person?

Yes — honestly, often better. Removing the drive is most of what lets clients actually stay consistent. You still get fully personalized, evidence-based care: we can review labs together, layer in CGM data, and adjust as your body responds.

Are virtual sessions covered by insurance?

I'm in-network with Aetna in California. For other plans I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA/FSA cards work directly. The insurance page covers the details.

What do you help Laguna Niguel clients with most?

PCOS and hormone work, perimenopause and midlife hormone changes, gut health and IBS, and sustainable, weight-inclusive care.
