A little local context.
Yorba Linda is one of north Orange County's quieter, family-oriented suburbs — consistently ranked among the more affluent, residential pockets of the county, with a commuter rhythm oriented toward the 91 freeway and neighboring Anaheim Hills, Placentia and Brea.
For a lot of residents here, the barrier to nutrition care isn't motivation — it's time. Long commutes, school runs and packed calendars make a standing in-person appointment genuinely hard to keep. Virtual care removes the drive entirely, which is often the difference between starting and staying consistent.
It's also how some of my longest-term work has happened: one client managed her PCOS with me entirely virtually, from home here in Yorba Linda, fitting sessions around a full schedule.
Telehealth, by design — not as a fallback.
Yorba Linda is a commuter suburb. Between the freeway drive, school runs and after-school activities, a standing weekly drive to a clinic across town is exactly the kind of friction that quietly ends a nutrition plan. Virtual care removes that friction — you keep the appointment from your kitchen.
Each session is a video visit. We talk through what's actually happening — symptoms, energy, cycles, labs, what you ate last week — and you leave with a personalized plan and resources I send right after. Follow-ups keep us iterating instead of starting over.
I'm based in Orange County and virtual-first. Select in-person sessions in OC are available by request, but the practice is built around telehealth so care stays consistent.
Nutrition support Yorba Linda families look for
Most of my Yorba Linda clients come in for PCOS, hormone and insulin-resistance work — irregular cycles, fatigue, blood sugar that feels off, weight that won't budge despite doing everything 'right'. We work upstream of symptoms with a sustainable, food-first plan.
The other half is gut health: IBS, low-FODMAP done properly (with a real reintroduction phase), reflux and food sensitivities. Everything is weight-inclusive — progress is measured in energy, labs, cycles and symptoms, not the scale.

Virtual nutrition in Yorba Linda — common questions
Do you see clients in person in Yorba Linda?
My practice is virtual-first — most Yorba Linda clients work with me entirely by telehealth, which is what makes it easy to stay consistent. I'm Orange County–based and can sometimes accommodate select in-person sessions by request, but virtual is the core of how I work.
Can virtual nutrition counseling really work as well as in person?
Often better. Removing the commute means clients actually keep the appointments and stay consistent — which is most of what drives results. You still get fully personalized care: we review labs together, work with CGM data if you wear one, and adjust the plan as your body responds.
Are virtual sessions covered by insurance?
I'm in-network with Aetna in California, which covers a lot of Yorba Linda residents. If you have another plan, I provide superbills you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA/FSA cards work directly. The insurance page has the full breakdown.
What do you help Yorba Linda clients with most?
PCOS and hormone work, insulin resistance, IBS and gut health, and weight-inclusive metabolic care. The thread through all of it is root-cause and sustainable — not a 30-day fix.
